Ondo State Governor, ROTIMI AKEREDOLU, has lamented the influx of people from other states despite the ban on inter-state movement. He alleged that the police were frustrating the effort of the state government at containing the spread of the deadly disease by allowing people to enter the state after receiving bribe from them. The Governor was reacting through his Special Adviser on Special Duties, DOYIN ODEBOWALE, who visited the state boundaries on Sunday. Addressing the policemen, ODEBOWALE accused them of corruption by allowing unauthorised vehicles to pass through. But in a swift reaction, the head of the police team, EBISINE AMY, denied the allegation, saying the policemen at the boundary were doing the work professionally.
