Two private secondary schools in Delta State have been marked for closure by the Delta State Government over examination malpractices during the 2018 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).

On the same issue, 16 teachers have been sanctioned by the Examination Ethics Disciplinary Committee (EEDC) of the Delta State Ministry of Education on the grounds of collusion, comprise and negligence of duty.
