Anambra Doesn’t Need Confused Person As Governor – Abaribe

Abaribe said that the state is broken and needs a visionary leader who can rescue it from the shackles of Governor Willie Obiano-led government.

Senate Minority Leader, Eyinnaya Abaribe has revealed the kind of person that should be elected as Anambra state governor.
Speaking, Abaribe warned the people of Anambra State and the South-East against voting “champagne drinkers and confused people as governors”.
Abaribe said that the state is broken and needs a visionary leader who can rescue it from the shackles of Governor Willie Obiano-led government.
Speaking on Thursday at a rally at Atani Central School in Ogbaru, the PDP chieftain advised Anambra people to drop their fears over the forthcoming election and come out to exercise their civic duties.
He asked the people of the state to vote for the PDP and its governorship candidate in the November 6 election, Valentine Ozigbo, for better governance.
Abaribe, however, assured the people that security agencies were working to ensure a peaceful election.
“Do not be afraid coming out to vote. Come out and exercise your franchise. Security agencies are already top of the situation,” Abaribe said.
In his remarks, Ozigbo, whose running mate is Azuka Enemo, assured that the PDP will ensure good governance in Anambra.
