A family member said the late soldier died while trying to save his colleagues from ‘‘heartless bandits.”
A Nigerian soilder killed by bandits has been mourned by his family and friends.
It was gathered that the gallant soldier was killed in a gun battle with terrorists in Borno State.
Details of the incident are still sketchy at the time of filing this report, but one of the family members, Chidinma Obeni Egwu, said the late soldier died while trying to save his colleagues from ‘‘heartless bandits.”

Ani Ifeayinwa Peace wrote: ”I waited to see if you will respond to my messages or at least tease me like always do but till now… nothing. What about our discussion for December Uche? you even said you’ll tell bro ekene to tell me sorry for all the times he taunted me. I’m speechless. Don’t even know what to say.”
